Watch the Indians crush 3 homers in the third inning against the Red Sox
The ball was flying out of Progressive Field in Game 1 of the ALDS on Thursday night, as the Indians and Red Sox each hit three solo homers. Cleveland did all of its damage in a huge third inning.
Trailing 2-1 after Boston added a run in the top of the frame, the Indians muscled up against Rick Porcello, who had allowed three homers in a game just twice all season en route to 22 wins.
Roberto Perez, Jason Kipnis and Francisco Lindor all went deep in the span of nine pitches (before Mike Napoli crushed a foul ball completely out of the stadium):

Those blasts put Cleveland ahead 4-2, and it held on for a 5-4 win to take Game 1. The two teams will be back at it this afternoon (4:30 p.m. ET), with David Price and Corey Kluber hoping to do a better job of keeping the ball in the park.
