WATCH: Cubs go wild in locker room after winning World Series
The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series since 1908 on Wednesday, and the team threw a locker–room party more than 100 years in the making.
The Cubs earned the title after beating the Indians 8–7 in an epic Game 7. Chicago held a 6–3 lead in the eighth inning before the Indians tied the game, sending it to extra innings. The Cubs scored two runs in the top of the 10th inning, and the Indians could only manage one in the bottom half of the inning.
Cleveland held a 3–1 lead in the series, but the Cubs won the final three games of the series to win their first championship in 108 years.
