HOUSTON (AP) Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout returned to the lineup on Thursday night against the Houston Astros after missing two games because of an injured left wrist.

The All-Star center fielder was hurt trying to make a diving catch in the fourth inning on Sunday in a 13-7 victory over Texas. He remained in the game and later hit a grand slam.

Trout entered Thursday leading the majors with 31 homers and is hitting .315 with 64 RBIs.

The Astros won the first two games of the series to take a one game lead in the AL West.
