Tigers' Cabrera, Ausmus ejected against Indians

CLEVELAND (AP) Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera and manager Brad Ausmus have been ejected in the sixth inning by plate umpire Tim Timmons for arguing balls and strikes.

Cabrera was thrown out after taking a called strike on the first pitch of his at-bat against the Indians on Wednesday. The Tigers complained about strike calls earlier in the inning while Rajai Davis and Ian Kinsler were batting. Cabrera argued with Timmons briefly before the two-time AL MVP was ejected for the first time this season.

Ausmus charged out of the dugout and had a heated argument with Timmons before being kicked out for the first time in his managerial career.

Cabrera was batting .323 going into the game, tying him for the league lead.
