Suspects in fan beating face LA judge

Arraignment has been postponed for two Southern California men charged with severely beating a San Francisco Giants fan at Dodger Stadium on opening day of this year's baseball season.

Twenty-nine-year-old Louie Sanchez and 30-year-old Marvin Norwood appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday, but the proceeding was continued to Aug. 10.

Both are accused of mayhem and assault in the March 31 attack on 42-year-old paramedic Bryan Stow, who was beaten into a coma and remains hospitalized.

Los Angeles police had arrested another man as the prime suspect, but cleared him after the arrests of Norwood and Sanchez last Thursday.
