San Francisco, Kansas City public libraries talk shhh in Twitter 'Word' Series

The World Series matchup between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals has brought out the rivalry between the two cities.
It's even gone so far as to set the public libraries of the two respective cities against each other on Twitter prior to Game 1 at Kauffman Stadium.
Kansas City had the first hit with this fly ball to left field earlier on Tuesday:
Hey @SFPublicLibrary we have a book for you! http://t.co/k0IiHUuvt1 #BlueOctober #TaketheCrown pic.twitter.com/6g7CVDEhOd

The San Francisco Public Library quickly threw back with this tweet and the war of words was officially engaged:
@KCLibrary Thanks, but maybe you should read this: http://t.co/retK4JHVi4 #OrangeOctober #OctoberTogether @SFGiants pic.twitter.com/N8CoydSBFV

Now the dust jackets are off. Check out the heated throwdown (all in courteous, hushed library voices, of course):
.@SFPublicLibrary @SFGiants Hard to argue with Willie Mays, but at least our history reads "From Kansas City to Kansas City" @Royals
— KCMO Public Library (@KCLibrary) October 21, 2014
@KCLibrary @Royals No argument about terrific Kansas City, but @SFGiants history shows we've been amazing coast to coast #OrangeOctober

.@SFPublicLibrary So courteous! May Madison Bumgarner & @SFGiants only lose 1-0 tonight :) #GoRoyals #BlueOctober #TakeTheCrown

.@KCLibrary We're polite but fierce! Get ready to cry some blue tears for @Royals when @SFGiants take the win tonight. #OrangeOctober

Hey @SFPublicLibrary care to place a wager? You win, we'll add your book to our collection. We win, You add this: pic.twitter.com/FSJ2LC7jJr

As of press time, San Francisco had yet to take Kansas City up on the bet.
Or maybe their librarians had just checked out.
UPDATE 10/22: The libraries continued slinging out shhh after the Giants' victory vaulted San Francisco to an early Series lead:
’Tis but a flesh wound - @Royals will rally! Tonight, #LetsThrowFire! #BlueOctober #TakeTheCrown @SFPublicLibrary @SFGiants
— KCMO Public Library (@KCLibrary) October 22, 2014
.@KCLibrary Heard it was pretty quiet at Kauffman Stadium h/t @annkillion "Turn their rocking ballparks into the public library" #GoGiants
— SF Public Library (@SFPublicLibrary) October 22, 2014
.@SFPublicLibrary @sfchronicle Don't tell us that you're still shushing people in the stacks out in SF?
— KCMO Public Library (@KCLibrary) October 22, 2014
.@KCLibrary Guess we'll see what happens tonight when @#sfgiants shhhhhh-ut you down in game 2. #OrangeOctober #GoGiants
— SF Public Library (@SFPublicLibrary) October 22, 2014
.@SFPublicLibrary meh... Yordano = 100mph = Series even #BlueOctober #TakeTheCrown
