Rockies' Tulowitzki extends streaks going into final day of Final Vote

Going into Friday -- the final day of MLB’s Final Vote to determine the last player selected for the All-Star team on both the NL and AL squads -- Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki continued to make his case. Although he had said that he wouldn’t campaign for himself, his play has been doing the talking for him.

On Thursday he extended his hitting streak to 21 game -- the longest in the majors this season. He also reached base safely for the 36th straight game.

Meanwhile, the Rockies and their fans went all out in pushing Tulo’s candidacy.
