Rockies OF Fowler leaves game with knee injury

Colorado Rockies center fielder Dexter Fowler is out of the game against San Francisco because of a left lateral knee bruise.

The Rockies sais Monday night that he is day to day.

Fowler started the game and singled in the first inning. He was then caught stealing and was replaced by Charlie Blackmon to start the second.

Blackmon hit a solo home run leading off the third.

Fowler is hitting .263 with 12 home runs and 18 stolen bases this season. He missed nine games in July because of a bone bruise in his right hand.
