Report: Dodgers telling teams Yasiel Puig is 'not available' despite inquiries

The Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves involved in trade rumors regarding outfielder Andre Ethier yet again - with the Chicago White Sox potentially interested in his services.
On Thursday, USA Today's Bob Nightengale provided a bit of an update on that front, but also noted that the team is receiving inquiries regarding Yasiel Puig -- but Puig apparently isn't on the market:
The #Whitesox still would like offensive upgrade, and the #Dodgers would love to move Andre Ethier, but no signs of potential match.

Teams that inquire about Yaisel Puig_and not Ethier_are being told by the #Dodgers that he is not available, at least not now.

Puig had a tumultuous 2015 due to injuries and ineffectiveness, but he has slimmed down a bit in preparation for the upcoming year -- something that has impressed president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, who said Puig "looks great" so far.
The Dodgers might want to rid themselves of the $35.5 million owed to Ethier over the next two seasons, but dealing Puig would be a bit of a head-scratcher given the promising things said about him this winter.
