CHICAGO (AP) After placing outfielder Brennan Boesch on the disabled list with an ankle contusion late Sunday, the Cincinnati Reds promoted outfielder/infielder Adam Duvall from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

In another move, the Reds recalled right-hander Michael Lorenzen from Louisville and optioned David Holmberg there.

Duvall was acquired from San Francisco on July 31 along with pitcher Keury Mella for pitcher Mike Leake.

Duvall hit 30 home runs with 87 RBIs in 125 minor league games this season.
