Reds batter takes out his teammate with a line drive

The Cincinnati Reds were in a golden position to take the lead over the Mets Tuesday in the fifth inning with a runner on third base and no outs - but the man in scoring position took a very painful shot to the foot.

Cincinnati's Jose Peraza ripped a ball foul down the third base line, and Hernan Iribarren was unable to leap out of the way in time. The ball bounced off Iribarren's foot, and he looked very annoyed.

Fortunately for Iribarren, he wasn't out on the play because he was standing in foul territory, and he later scored on a sacrifice fly.
