Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus has been ejected in the sixth inning after being called out on strikes by umpire Eric Cooper.

After taking strike three from Toronto starter Mark Buehrle on Friday night, Andrus yelled at Cooper from the dugout. After Andrus was ejected, a bat was thrown onto the field from the dugout.

Jurickson Profar moved from second base to shortstop, and Leury Garcia came in to play second.
