Pittsburgh named second-best baseball city

When people think of a great baseball city with strong fans they often think of St. Louis.

Pittsburgh may not be the second city that comes to my, but according to a recent survey, it should be.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, "Pittsburgh was ranked the second-best city in the United States for baseball fans, according to a recent study by WalletHub, a web-based personal finance company.

The study rated 272 cities based upon 11 metrics split into two categories — “teams and performance” and “costs and fan engagement.”

St. Louis and Pittsburgh topped the list with Cincinnati, Atlanta and Cleveland finishing out the top five.
