Every so often, a pitcher makes an impressive snag on a comebacker laced off the bat of a hitter. Typically when that happens, the pitcher uses his glove -- out of self-defense or just sheer leather-flashing brilliance. However, Bowie Baysox pitcher Ashur Tolliver didn't need his glove to make this incredible catch.
He nabbed a line drive with his bare hand, and it wasn't to protect his face. He was just making a spectacular play.

This sort of catch isn't something you see every day. Heck, it's not even a play that happens every couple months. Fortunately, Tolliver appeared to be OK after rubbing his hand on his leg.
