Published Aug. 21, 2011 4:06 p.m. ET

Philadelphia shortstop Jimmy Rollins has left the Phillies' game against the Washington Nationals with a strained right groin.

Rollins came out in the third inning Sunday and the team said he is day-to-day.

Rollins missed 74 games last season with right calf strains, but has played in all but four of Philadelphia's games this season.
