Peralta expects to make next start

Wily Peralta was prematurely lifted from his last start, but doesn't expect to miss his next one.

“I think I'm going to be OK," Peralta told Brewers.com. "I'm going to play catch and see how it feels and do my treatment."

Just as Peralta expects to make his next start, so do the Brewers.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said part of the reason he removed Peralta was precautionary and that there should be no problems going forward.

"I'm optimistic right now. I think we're going to be OK there. We'll wait a couple of days for sure."

The right-hander is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday against the Giants.
