San Diego's Everth Cabrera has been ejected after a tussle with Arizona third baseman Mark Reynolds caused both benches and bullpens to empty in the sixth inning.
Cabrera was on third when catcher Miguel Montero threw down to the base Sunday. As Reynolds applied the tag to a diving Cabrera, he fell onto Cabrera's backside and rolled over him.
With both players still on the ground, Cabrera appeared to push his foot into Reynolds' groin area. Reynolds then shoved his left foot into Cabrera's side. Both players quickly got to their feet and Reynolds pushed Cabrera, who removed his helmet and began backing up.
No punches were thrown as both dugouts and bullpens emptied onto the infield. After a few minutes, Cabrera was ejected.
