Orioles reportedly agree to deal with Korean OF Hyun-soo Kim

The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a two-year, $7 million deal with Korean outfielder Hyun-soo Kim, The Baltimore Sun first reported Wednesday.

Kim, 27, has spent his entire 10-year professional career with the Doosan Bears in the Korean Baseball Organization. This past season, he hit .326/.428/.541 with 26 doubles, 28 homers and 121 RBI. He walked 101 times and struck out only 63 times.

He is a career .318/.406/.488 hitter with 142 homers and 771 RBI.

Kim was primarily a left fielder in Korea, and the Orioles do have need at the corner outfield positions.
