Orioles hit 4 homers, beat Red Sox 16-8

SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) J.J. Hardy homered for the third straight game, Manny Machado for the second in a row, and Chris Davis hit his second home run of the spring as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Boston Red Sox 16-8 on Saturday.
The home runs from Machado and Davis were part of a six-run sixth inning against Roenis Elias, who's a candidate for Boston's fifth starter's job.
Minor league catcher Audry Perez added a three-run homer.

Mark Trumbo had three RBIs for the Orioles.
Yovani Gallardo started for the Orioles and allowed seven runs and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings.
Boston scored five runs in the second inning against Gallardo, who has a spring ERA of 16.88.
Mookie Betts had three hits and Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a two-run homer for the Red Sox.
