Norris pitches well in Atlanta's loss to Pittsburgh

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) Bud Norris pitched two perfect innings and Nick Markakis homered in the Atlanta Braves' 9-6 spring loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday.

Tyler Flowers and Ryan Lavarnway also connected for the Braves.

Pedro Florimon drove in three runs for the Pirates, who trailed 5-1 after five innings. Jake Goebbert drove in two runs with a double.

Pittsburgh scored five unearned runs in the sixth off Ryan Weber.

Prospect Tyler Glasnow started for Pittsburgh and issued three walks in 1 2-3 innings. He was charged with two runs and two hits.
