Moose is loose in Seattle: KC's Moustakas won't forget this trip

Several major league ballplayers have donned the nickname “Moose.”

Back in the day, there was Bill “Moose” Skowran.

Then there was Mike “Moose” Mussina.

There was even a Moose Morton — birthname Guy Morton Jr. — who had one at-bat for the Red Sox in 1954.

Today, there’s a Moose playing for the Kansas City Royals.

Third baseman Mike Moustakas.

With the Royals playing in Seattle, Kansas City’s Moose wasn’t going to miss out on this opportunity.
