Miguel Montero’s grand slam to rightfield in the eighth inning of Saturday’s NLCS Game 1 gave the Cubs a 7–3 lead over the Dodgers.

With two outs and the bases full in the inning, Montero hit for pitcher Aroldis Chapman and saw a hanging slider from Joe Blanton on 0–2 and deposited it into the seats in right. It was the third pinch-hit grand slam in history.

The ball left his bat at 105 mph, and went 402 feet.

Dexter Fowler followed with a solo shot to right to make it 8–3, and Kris Bryant hit a double after that. Joe Blanton was then lifted from the game.
