The New York Mets have unveiled the logo for the 2013 All-Star game and attached the insignia to the center-field scoreboard at Citi Field.

Mets stars David Wright, Johan Santana, R.A. Dickey and manager Terry Collins were joined by former Mets Dwight Gooden, Keith Hernandez, John Franco and Ron Darling at Tuesday's ceremony.

The logo for the game next July is similar to the Mets' symbol, in blue and orange with a bridge spanning a city skyline that represents all five boroughs.

Wright thanked Mets chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon and the team for moving in the fences this year at the spacious ballpark, saying it would help at the All-Star Home Run Derby.

''It would've been unprecedented to have to hit from second base,'' Wright quipped.
