Matt Harvey jokes about how he mistook Jacob deGrom for a woman
New York Mets right-hander Matt Harvey was a guest on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Wednesday night alongside actor Alan Cumming and author Alexander Chee.
Harvey spent his visit discussing a number of topics, including Fashion Week, the offseason and, most amusingly, how his first introduction to teammate Jacob deGrom was a bit confusing.

As Harvey told Meyers, when deGrom was first called up by the Mets the two were locker mates, but deGrom's flowing hair caught him off-guard in the locker room:
When discussing his offseason activities, Harvey mentioned his interest in Fashion Week and, when prompted by Meyers, talked about his "Dark Knight" nickname. The host asked Harvey who he considers his "Bane" (one of the main villains in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" series), and Harvey had an answer ready:
For what it's worth (or is it "Werth"?), Harvey has limited the Nationals' slugger to 4 for 19 in their matchups, with one double, no home runs and 11 strikeouts.
