Florida Marlins right-hander Edward Mujica left the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a strained left knee Monday night.

Mujica was hurt while running to cover first base on a grounder in the seventh inning. He hopped several times, then fell to the infield dirt holding the back of his leg, and was carted off the field.

Mujica is 3-1 with an ERA of 3.63 in 16 games this season.
