Korean team claims Pirates minor leaguer

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pirates minor leaguer Deibinson Romero has agreed to terms with the Doosan Bears of the Korea Baseball Organization.

“Romero, 28, was hitting .302 with a .403 OBP, 6 homers and 13 doubles in 155 plate appearances for Class AAA Indianapolis this season. He signed with the Pirates in December as a minor league free agent and was invited to spring training.”
