Hospital dresses babies as Buccos
It’s not every day the Pirates make it to the postseason, so Steel City is taking full advantage and making the most out of “Buctober.”
After experiencing their first playoff victory in 21 years with a 6-2 win over the Reds on Tuesday night, Pittsburgh fans literally were jumping for joy. The city’s celebration continued with a local hospital joining the party. Starting Wednesday and running through the end of the Pirates’ postseason run, St. Clair Hospital announced that it will be dressing newborns — Bucco Babies — in Pirates onesies and red bandanas.
