Here are the hats players will wear on the Fourth of July
New Era revealed the caps each Major League Baseball team will wear this Fourth of July, and they're a bit different than the headwear worn in years past.
Since the league began the tradition of wearing one-off caps on holidays, the Independence Day editions always have been some combination of red, white and blue, with a few stars thrown in on occasion. Here's a look at last year's design.
The 2014 versions will feature a similar stars and stripes theme but include a giant star on the crown, positioned behind the team logo and bearing an image of the American flag.

MLB announced it will donate 100 percent of the net proceeds from cap sales to the Welcome Back Veterans program.
