Healthy Gomez bids farewell to Brewers fans after weird couple days
Eight years after Carlos Gomez broke into the big leagues with the New York Mets he was on his way back. Or at least he thought.

As for the Mets' claim that Gomez is dealing with a bum hip, the player and his agent Scott Boras continue to contend that he is perfectly healthy.
Gomez’s agent, Scott Boras, says Gomez has never seen a hip doctor or had hip issue. #Mets believe scrutiny was justified and warranted.
