Hamilton scratched from Angels' lineup vs. Twins

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Josh Hamilton has been scratched from the Los Angeles Angels' lineup against Minnesota.

The team didn't announce a reason, but Hamilton missed the previous two games with a sore right shoulder that caused him to leave Thursday night's game against the Twins. He was supposed to bat cleanup Sunday, but the AL West leaders pulled him from the lineup about an hour before the first pitch.

On Saturday, manager Mike Scioscia said Hamilton was day to day. The 2010 AL MVP was batting .263 with 10 homers and 44 RBIs this season.
