PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) Yoenis Cespedes and Noah Syndergaard gave the New York Mets a little giddy-up.

The Mets stars decided to ride horses into camp Tuesday, then took them for a romp around the spring training complex.

Cespedes drew plenty of attention last week, showing off his personal fleet of tricked-out custom vehicles. This time, the flashy outfielder pulled into the players' parking lot sporting a different kind of horsepower.

Syndergaard said it was his idea to go horsin' around. His father trains horses in Texas, plus the pitcher had seen a picture on Instagram of Cespedes with a horse.

Cespedes wore a cowboy hat while riding Candy, one of the horses he owns on a nearby Florida ranch.

Mets pitcher Steven Matz and catcher Kevin Plawecki later took the mounts for a ride toward the minor league fields.
