Published Jun. 9, 2015 7:10 p.m. ET

In the tightest All-Star Game voting race, Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina now has a lead over the Giants’ Buster Posey. Molina leads Posey by just under 5,000 votes. The two former All-Star catchers have switched positions in the polls in each of MLB.com's previous two voting updates.

While both men have similar batting averages, Posey has hit nine home runs. Molina has yet to hit one this season. Molina has caught 40% of potential base-stealers, while Posey has nailed 41% of batters. The Giants catcher is sixth in the league with a 1.1 Defensive WAR.
