Giants catcher Buster Posey had a scare on Wednesday night. He took a foul tip behind the plate during the fourth inning and said he felt “off.” He later left the game. According to reports, he passed a concussion test.

Per CSN Bay Area, Giants manager Bruce Bochy spoke about the condition of his catcher:

“We think he’s going to be fine, but we’ll check on him tomorrow, and if he needs a day or two then he’ll get it.”

Fortunately for the Giants, Posey has been playing more first base lately as Andrew Susac has proven himself behind the plate. With an afternoon game on Thursday, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Susac behind the plate.
