ATLANTA (AP) Matt Wisler snapped a string of four straight losses, Freddie Freeman had three hits, including a two-run homer, and the Atlanta Braves beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-2 on Thursday.

Freeman was still hot one day after he became the first player this season to hit for the cycle. Freeman had a first-inning single before driving in Mallex Smith with the third-inning homer that landed in front of the Braves' bullpen beyond the right-field wall.

Adam Duvall hit his 19th homer and Joey Votto had three hits for the Reds.

The Braves won back-to-back home games for only the second time this season, improving their still-dismal home record to 9-27. They won two straight at Turner Field against Miami on May 27-28.
