J.T. Realmuto singled three times and scored twice for the Marlins, who took a 2-0 lead on an error by Nationals second baseman Stephen Drew.

A.J. Ramos came on in the ninth for his 11th save.

Nationals starter Joe Ross (3-3) allowed five runs - three earned - over 5 2/3 innings.
