Exclusive: Seinfeld dishes on Mets, A-Rod & favorite TV show
It's not news that comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld is a massive baseball nut.
He has long been an outspoken New York Mets fan and even had an entire multi-episode storyline centered around Mets first baseman Keith Hernandez on his preeminent 90s sitcom "Seinfeld."
And it's one of the greatest storylines in television history.
What is news, however, is that FOX Sports' very own Jimmy Traina had the comedian on The Buzz podcast Tuesday morning. The two New Yorkers talked about a variety of topics, a good portion of which was focused on baseball. It's no surprise really seeing as Traina is a big-time Yankees fan.
Seinfeld dished on A-Rod and why baseball needs a "roider" to come forward and tell kids that using the juice ruined his life. He answered the question "What was more upsetting? The Mets mediocre season or Matt Harvey's injury." He even offered what his favorite TV show is right now.
Here is the podcast in its entirety.
And here's the culminating scene from one of the greatest storylines on one of the best shows in television history.
