Duke leaves game with injury.
Arizona left-hander Zach Duke left Saturday night's game against a Colorado Rockies split squad after getting hit on his left hand by a line drive off the bat of Charlie Blackmon in the second inning.
''It got me right on the back of my hand,'' Duke said. ''I have a nice seam mark there.''
Duke trotted after the ball but did not attempt to make a throw. He was removed immediately after a cursory examination on the mound by the Diamondbacks trainer.
He will be examined by a team doctor Sunday morning.
''There's some discomfort but I feel pretty good about it,'' said Duke, who wore a light bandage around his left hand. ''The trainers did some tests, pushing on my knuckles, and there was no sharp pain. I can move my fingers.''
Duke has allowed seven runs over his previous three outings, a span of seven innings.
Right-hander Jarrod Parker replaced Duke.
