Dodgers' Yasiel Puig flies over Los Angeles in a helicopter
Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig certainly is taking in the City of Angels this offseason.
On Monday, the 25-year-old Cuban right fielder got a rare vantage point of the city he's called home for the past three years when he flew over LA in a helicopter.
Puig posted a video of the incredible view as the chopper flew over downtown LA with the sun setting in the backdrop.
"Wow! What a city!" Puig says excitedly, then noting the rush-hour traffic on the 110 Freeway as he soars above. "That was so awesome!"
Puig has been soaking up LA this offseason, taking in a few Lakers games to watch legendary guard Kobe Bryant in his final season, and even going paintballing with some of his teammates.
It hasn't been all fun and games for Puig this offseason, though.
He's been working hard in the winter months in hopes of having a productive 2016, and reportedly has slimmed down to seven percent body fat.
Looks like Puig is a master of "Work hard, play hard."
