Dodgers won't sell half-price alcohol this season

Published Apr. 13, 2011 11:04 p.m. ET

The Dodgers have dumped plans to sell half-price alcohol at six home games this season.

The team said Wednesday that the promotion will still feature half-price food and soft drinks and a half-price six-game ticket package at six midweek games.

The cheaper food and soft drink deal starts April 21 against Atlanta. It will be available for one game in May, and two games each in June and August.

A San Francisco Giants fan was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium after the season opener on March 31. Bryan Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic, remains in a medically induced coma. No arrests have been made and there's a $150,000 reward.
