Dodgers send Webb to Triple-A following trade with Orioles

PHOENIX (AP) The Los Angeles Dodgers have optioned right-hander Ryan Webb to Triple-A Oklahoma.

The 29-year-old Webb was acquired in a trade with Baltimore on Thursday and did not join the Dodgers on a trip to Arizona for a three-game series.

Webb has appeared in 87 games over six seasons in the majors, going 16-18 with a 3.38 ERA with stops in San Diego and Miami. He went 3-3 with a 3.83 ERA with the Orioles last season.

Webb went to Los Angeles with minor league catcher Brian Ward and a draft pick from Baltimore for minor league catcher Chris O'Brien and minor league pitcher Ben Rowen.
