Reasons for #Dodgers’ promotion of Seager, per source: Peraza sore hamstring, out at least 3 to 5 games. W/Kiké out, no backup SS on roster.

Seager could get some starts for #Dodgers quickly. Rollins, Turner each could use a day off. DH available with three games in ANA next week.

Seager, 21, was the 18th overall pick in 2012.
In 124 games between Double-A and Triple-A this season, Seager is hitting .292/.343/.486 with 18 homers, 36 doubles and 74 RBI.
Seager has primarily played shortstop but also has spent some time at third base in the minors.
After sweeping the second-place San Francisco Giants this week, the Dodgers lead the NL West by 6½ games.
