SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez has left the game against the San Francisco Giants after getting hit by a pitch on the top of his left hand. The team says X-rays on his hand were negative.

Ramirez was hit on a pitch clocked at 90 mph from Ryan Vogelsong to open the seventh inning Wednesday night. Ramirez slammed his helmet to the ground and hopped around in pain after the ball bounced off his hand.

He was tended to by a team trainer and manager Don Mattingly for a couple of minutes before being replaced by Justin Turner. Ramirez entered the game hitting .291 with two home runs and seven RBIs.
