David Ortiz's big week earns him AL Player of the Week honors

What a week for David Ortiz.

Not only did he hit his 500th home run of his career, he had a monster week, earning him American League Player of the Week honors.

The Boston Red Sox slugger hit .444 with three homers and nine RBI over his historic week.

Ortiz has 34 home runs and 95 RBI in his age-39 season.

On top of all that, he even got his own emoji:
