D-backs' recent call-up Dorn happy just to play baseball

After spending the first nine years of his career in the minors, D-backs outfielder Danny Dorn finally got called up from Triple A briefly earlier this year before being sent back down. With Ender Inciarte going down to injury, Dorn is getting another shot. Speaking to Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, Dorn offered a refreshing perspective on his recent call-up:

"At the end of the day you're playing baseball and I just try to keep that perspective," Dorn said. "I know my window of opportunity to play this game is a small one and I just try to enjoy it every day. I get to put that uniform on, put those spikes on, get out on the field and play a kid's game."

Dorn had been hitting .426 with four home runs and 25 RBIs in Triple-A Reno. During his stint with the club earlier this season, Dorn never started. He started on Tuesday going 2 for 4.
