Cubs' Lester set up for lengthy run at Wrigley starting Friday

After his start Monday at Pittsburgh was postponed by rain midway through, Jon Lester will find himself pitching at Wrigley Field for his next four starts thanks to manager Joe Maddon adjusting the rotation.

Lester threw only 31 pitches in Pittsburgh, so Maddon felt comfortable moving Lester's next start up a day which in turn will afford the lefty a lengthy run at Wrigley, according to the Chicago Tribune. His next start will be Friday against the San Francisco Giants, the team Chicago recently passed and will try to hold off in the wild-card race.

Lester, however, has been consistent whether pitching at home or on the road. He has a 3.27 ERA at Wrigley compared with a 3.24 mark on the road, according to the Tribune. In his last home start, Lester was brilliant, striking out 14 Colorado Rockies in eight innings.
