Colorado Rockies fans have been clamoring for the start of the Raimel Tapia and Tom Murphy eras to begin in LoDo. On Friday afternoon, they got their wish.

Tapia and Murphy, two of Colorado’s most tantalizing prospects, were recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday. It was just one of a series of moves the Rockies announced prior to their game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Additionally, Colorado reinstated right-handed pitchers Tyler Chatwood (mid-back strain) and Justin Miller (strained left oblique) from the 15-day disabled list, and also recalled right-handed pitcher Christian Bergman from Triple-A. Also, the Rockies reinstated infielder Daniel Descalso from the Paternity List.
