Benitez, on the other hand, amassed 160 saves, which slots him second on the Mets' all-time list, in four-plus seasons at an 86-percent success rate.

If Familia can sustain the elite level he's established this season, he has a chance to surpass Benitez on the Mets' career saves list as well.

Among all the seasons on the above list, the 25-year-old righty has maintained the lowest ERA (1.63) and WHIP (0.95) this season out of any of the Mets' famed closers.
