The Cleveland Indians are heating up heading into the month of June, winning ten of their last 13 games and taking three of four from the Mariners in Seattle.

Is this just a small sample of things to come for the Tribe?

Yes, according to rest-of-season projections compiled by FanGraphs.

The Indians, who currently sit just under .500 with a record of 24-26, are projected to have a record of 60-52 (.534 winning percentage) through their remaining games.

So what does that mean for the Indians' playoff hopes?

The projections suggest the Tribe will finish with a record of 84-78 (.518 winning percentage), tied with the Tigers for second in the AL Central. The Royals are projected to finish first, with a record of 85-77 (.527).

Obviously, these are merely projections based on opponents, schedules and past statistics and trends. But considering the rough start the Indians got off to, these projections certainly give fans hope for the rest of the season.
