Celebs ring in Jeter's birthday

Published Jun. 29, 2012 1:00 a.m. ET

Injuries sidelining Yankee stars Andy Pettitte and CC Sabathia didn't dampen Derek Jeter's 38th birthday celebration in New York.

The Yankee captain was joined by teammates Curtis Granderson and Andruw Jones at Southern Hospitality in Hell's Kitchen on Wednesday night.

"Entourage" star Kevin Connolly, the Knicks' Carmelo Anthony and rap mogul Sean Combs also turned out.

Rapper Black Rob performed his 2000 hit "Whoa," which used to be the song played at Yankee Stadium when Jeter stepped up to the plate.
