Outfielder Nick Stavinoha is among four players outrighted by the St. Louis Cardinals in a shakeup of their 40-man roster.

The Cardinals purchased the contracts of right-hander Blake King from Double-A Springfield and catcher Tony Cruz from Triple-A Memphis on Friday. They also outrighted pitcher Adam Ottavino, catcher Steven Hill and outfielder Daryl Jones to Memphis, leaving them with 36 players on the 40-man roster.

Cruz was a non-roster invitee to spring training last season. King and Cruz played in the Arizona Fall League.
